2019 Booster Barn Schedule Assignments
Freshman and Sophomore Parents,
We are fast approaching the beginning of the 2019 fall season and expect an exciting and challenging year for our boys. This year we will be playing a few new teams, meeting new friends, and reuniting with our Gridiron family. Our children have been working hard in preparation to hit the field and we look forward to an enjoyable and safe season.
The Booster Barn provides our fans with refreshments and our school with necessary athletic funds. To that end, parents must staff the Booster Barn during all home football games. This year, the job is up to us. Details are provided below to help guide you through the process.
WHO: Freshmen and Sophomore football parents. We have 20 freshman and 12 sophomore families in our 2019 pool. Names were chosen alphabetically, starting with freshman families, then-sophomore. This year the roster is smaller than it has been in the past so there are some names listed twice to cover all the shifts. This was done fairly via random selection by “pulling from a hat”.
Please note, the Nevitt and Paul names are not listed because as Booster Barn Coordinator’s, Alison Nevitt and Bradie Paul will be present together, or separately, for all shifts.
WHAT: Each family in the pool is assigned to one or two home games for either a 1st or 2nd half shift. The assignment is for one adult from the family listed – your choice, and more are always welcome!
1st Half: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM (includes set-up)
2nd Half: 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM (includes clean-up)
The only scheduling exception is the Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl, which is scheduled at 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
1st Half: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM (includes set-up)
2nd Half: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM (includes clean-up)
If possible, it would be ideal if both groups could overlap at halftime to cover the heavy flow of customers.
Basic duties include selling candy and drinks, grilling, making hot chocolate, ramen noodles, popcorn, etc.
WHY: WHS Booster Club Funds go towards maintenance of turf fields, payments on Barn and Bleachers. Boosters support ALL WHS Athletics and Cheerleaders.

QUESTIONS: Alison Nevitt or Bradie Paul will be at every shift, either together or separately, to supervise, help and answer any questions as needed.
Thank you very much for your support in this matter. Go Trojans!!
